Our PTA

Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a group of dedicated parents providing resources and programs to all families. Members who pay dues to our local PTA automatically become a member of the state and national PTAs. The state and national levels of PTA provide several services that benefit every local PTA. These services include national child advocacy and government relations, leadership development, program planning and execution, and resource development. 

The Daffron PTA uses dues and donations to help pay for the many contributions made to Daffron Elementary each year. These contributions include but are not limited to:

• Additional field trips for each grade
• Student educational programs and assemblies
• Classroom educational resources and tools
• Campus Enhancement Gifts to the school
• Education training for Daffron teachers and staff
• Author visits for students
• Family Picnic
• Field Day
• Teacher Appreciation Week
• Bluebonnet Reception
• Colonial Days and 5th Grade Send Off Celebration
• Afterschool Enrichment
• Reflections Program
• Physical Education Equipment
• Red Ribbon Week Program (promoting drug-free message)
• Grade Level Allocations

Please join Daffron Elementary PTA and help us continue to support our children and school. Access to the Daffron Elementary PTA directory is included in your membership. Although we welcome your participation in any activity that interests you, participation is not dependent upon being a member of the Daffron Elementary PTA.
